The 7-Day Activation Code

The evening sessions handle the part of the day where you wind down. This handles the part where it starts.

Seven mornings. Five minutes each. One category of trigger per day.

Money anxiety isn't evenly spread across your day

It has favourite moments. If you pay attention for a week, you'll find yours are startlingly consistent.

  • Sunday evening, somewhere around six o'clock, for no reason connected to anything happening.
  • The news comes on and mentions the economy, and something in your chest changes before you've registered a word of it.
  • A particular relative's name appears on your phone.
  • Standing in a certain aisle. Reaching for a certain kind of item.
  • The moment before you open the banking app — not after. Before.

These aren't random and they aren't a character flaw. They're associations, built up over years, firing on cue. And the reason they hit so hard is almost always the same: they arrive unannounced. You don't see them coming, so there's no gap between the cue and the reaction.

Putting a gap there is the entire product. Not removing the trigger — you can't, and you shouldn't try to reorganise your life around avoiding your own family or the news. Just knowing what's coming before it arrives.

What you actually do

Five minutes each morning, for seven mornings. Each day covers one category — the sounds, the places, the people, the times of day, the physical sensations that come first.

Each morning you get a short written prompt and a two-minute audio. You identify the triggers in that category that belong to you specifically, and you note where they're likely to turn up in the day ahead. Then you go and have your day. Nothing else is asked of you.

By the end of the week you have a written list of your own triggers — not a generic one — and a week's practice at spotting them a beat earlier than you used to.

Being straight about the mechanism

This is stimulus awareness. It's an ordinary technique, it's been used in one form or another for decades, and there's nothing proprietary or secret about it.

  • Nothing here is being "deactivated" at a cellular level. Nothing is being rewritten in your DNA. The triggers don't go away and this doesn't remove them.
  • What changes is how much warning you get. That's a smaller claim than the ones usually made in this category, and it's the one we can actually stand behind.
  • There is no age-related urgency. Nothing accelerates after 50, nothing closes behind you, and this works no differently at 68 than at 38.

What's included

The main thing

Seven daily prompts and audios

Delivered as a single PDF plus seven short recordings. Do them on consecutive mornings or spread them out — it makes no difference, and nothing resets if you miss one.

Included

The Seven Morning Tracks

A two-minute audio for each day, to have on while the kettle boils. Short enough that they don't become another thing you're failing to keep up with.

Included

The Family Code Map

A written exercise on which of your triggers came from where — the ones you can trace to a particular person or a particular period. It's reflection, not diagnosis, and it doesn't tell you anything about anyone that you don't already know.

Included

The Three Conversations

The money conversations that land hardest — the ones with a parent, with a partner, and the one you have with yourself. How to notice them starting, and how to step sideways out of them without turning it into a confrontation.

What it can't do

  • It will not generate income or change your financial position.
  • It is not treatment for anxiety or any other condition, and it is not a substitute for professional care.
  • It will not stop the triggers from happening. It is about noticing, not eliminating.
  • If your money anxiety is severe enough to interfere with sleep, work, or relationships most weeks, please talk to a doctor. A five-minute morning exercise is not the right size of tool for that.

Questions

Do I need this for the nine days to work?

No. They're separate, and the nine sessions are complete on their own.

Can I get it later?

Yes, from your member area, at the same price.

Do I have to write things down?

Yes, a little. It's the part that does the work — a list of your triggers held vaguely in your head isn't the same as one on paper.
